My approach
My goal when capturing a wedding is to create truthful, natural photographs that remind people exactly how they felt in that moment. I believe what makes me a great photographer is how deeply sensitive and empathetic I am, this is something I have been told all my life. I know when you're nervous and I will remind you to take a breath. I know how emotional you feel that day and how conflicting some of those emotions are. I also understand most people find photoshoots daunting and unnatural, but I'm confident I will easily change your perspective on this. I know how to make a session feel calming as well as fun, by giving you easy directions to follow that make my style personal and I believe, very French (I'm all about hugs and forehead kisses).

The process
Once you have enquired with me by email, you can expect to hear from me within 24 hours. I'll give you a call to discuss your wedding and if we feel that we are a right match for each other, then you can secure your date with me by paying a 50% deposit. About a month prior to your wedding, we'll meet for a coffee and a pre-wedding photoshoot, which is included in both my packages. This will help me getting to know you a little more and hearing about your story, as well as capturing some last moments of you as a non-married couple, and helping you feel more familiar with me and my photography style.

On the day itself
I will always arrive early to check in with you and set up. Usually after the ceremony, I will take you away from the crowd and capture some intimate photographs of just you two, within the venue or a location near by. If time allows, we may be able to capture more moments during the golden hour. This light is particularly beautiful for portraits as it is softer and warmer than during the day, giving shots a deeply romantic vibe. This is an opportunity for you both to take a breath and relax. I will let you both interact naturally and only give you directions when required. I am discreet and you don't need to pose or look into the camera! The more you forget about me, the better.

Afterwards
I usually take a few thousands photographs on the day, so it takes me a while to bring this number down and pre-select the best moments. I then crop, reframe and edit each photograph in a bright, soft and warm style that is flattering on people's skin and makes any light condition look good. It gives a summer vibe to most situations, even when it's snowing outside!

The pre wedding photoshoot

Included in all my packages, the pre wedding photoshoot is a key part of our journey together. It's a great opportunity to work together, get to know each other and for you to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and in my presence. Oh, and - it's also a lot of fun! We would usually meet up for coffee, discuss your wedding then shoot at a location of your choice for 45min. I like to keep things simple so a lot of my sessions happen in the WestEnd of Glasgow where we can find plenty of coffee shops and the beautiful Glasshouses in the Botanic Gardens for some shelter in case of rain.

All my clients tell me that those photographs mean so much to them and that the experience took a lot of nerves away from their wedding - it also helps me feeling more familiar with you both and your dynamic
. Each couple is unique and interacts differently, and I love finding out what works best for you before photographing your wedding.

Basically, it's a fun but important experience
for you as well as for me!
